  1. Where/how do I park at UW on weekdays?

    1. You will need a pay-per-use parking permit

    2. Talk to the parking office: Email ucommute@uw.edu or call 206-221-3701

    3. Recommend E12 parking lot (if available)

  2. Where do I park at UW when on call/weekends/holidays?

    1. Triangle garage:

      1. Free parking for fellows begins when entering the garage after 4:00 pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays. 

      2. When entering the garage, you pull a ticket, and when you are ready to exit the garage, you will need to bring that ticket to the parking cashier along with your UWMC ID badge. 

      3. If you exit before 8:00 am on weekdays or anytime on weekends or holidays, your parking will be free. 

      4. If there isn’t a cashier present when you attempt to leave, the gates will be up, and you can just drive out.

    2. Will need to provide pager number, cell phone number, and cellular carrier in the email.

  11. How do I log work hours?

    1. General fellows – This needs to be done weekly

    3. Under Tasks --> This week's work hours

    4. For every 12-hour (or longer) shift worked, you will get $12 on your Husky card (free meal)

  12. How do I log procedures?

    1. General fellows - you need to log all of your procedures

    3. Click Procedures Tab --> Log New Procedure/Case

  13. I need a place to sleep in the hospital

    1. Go to the Crow's nest: 6th floor mezzanine level up from the 5th floor on B wing

      1. It has call rooms, scrubs, showers, work computers

  14. I need to go to the gym (--same!)
